After ten years of “borrowing” worship spaces in Lawrence, Velocity church has found a home. KBS teamed with Gould Evans Architects to deliver a 20,000 SF tenant improvements in a converted HyVee grocery store in West Lawrence. The build-out included a large lobby welcome area with a coffee bar, an 800 seat auditorium, and a children’s area with check-in, classrooms, and a multi-purpose gym and recreation room.
