The giraffe and mixed-African hoof stock habitat measures 61,750 square feet and is accessed by both a 4,000-square-foot hoof stock barn and a 10,000-square-foot giraffe holding building, which features an indoor public viewing platform for those times when the animals are housed inside. this project included several viewing areas into the northern portions of the habitat, while a new pathway and open-air shade structures provide both viewing and feeding opportunities along the west side of the animal yard. The new animal barns provide modern amenities for the health and well-being of our giraffe and friends, including a giant indoor giraffe playroom, maternity room, training suite, and both an indoor and outdoor feeding platform for the guests to get up close and personal with the giraffe.
