This summer our crews successfully executed a heating and cooling system upgrade at three old scholarship halls at the University of Kansas. The very compressed work schedule occurred over summer break. Since these new split systems heat pump units are very different than the old radiators they replaced, KBS crews had to patch walls and repair millwork where the old units had been. In other words, if our craftsmen did a good job it would be difficult to tell where the patching was done. These two photos show a very fine example of this work. Our craftsmen matched drywall and historic millwork so perfectly, see if you can guess where the repairs were made? Here is a hint. There is an outlet near one of the repairs.
